Horse Shoe Trivia:
It is widely held that iron horseshoes originated in the Yenisei region of Siberia
in the 9th or 10th century AD, however there is archaeological evidence which
suggests that iron horseshoes were used by the Celts as early as 50 BC. By 1000 AD,
nailed on iron horse shoes were common in Europe.*
